Ecology and Sustainability Master of Science Program
With concentrations in
Ecological Conservation and Ecological Economics

This program just received its final approval from the CSU system chancellor on October 26, 2006 and is now up and running officially. Many people participated in establishing this program, however special acknowledgement must go to Dr. Pamela Roe. Dr. Roe conceived this program two years ago and has been the the primary author and life force that made the program a reality!

We started our courses in Fall 2006 with sections of BIOL 5030 (Ecosystem Services and Ecology) and BIOL 5961 (Graduate Seminar in Ecology and Sustainability). Course offerings in Spring 2007 will include BIOL 5170/72 (Restoration Ecology), BIOL 5961, and PADM 5310 (Environmental Planning, Policy, and Law). All courses required for program completion will be offered on a yearly or biyearly schedule.

Further informaiton is available at Master of Science in Ecology and Sustainability.

Any questions or concerns? Contact Dr. Ann Kohlhaas, Director of the MS Program in Ecology and Sustainability at akohlhaas@csustan.edu Ph. 209-667-3695.
